Julie Sale Biography
Julie Sale Sex and Relationship Therapist Letchworth] After a career at Director level in the food and supply chain industries, I trained as a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist with the BeeLeaf Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy. Contemporary Psychotherapy is a pluralistic, outcome-orientated approach that gently facilitates recovery, growth and integration.
I am also a COSRT Accredited Psychosexual Psychotherapist and have completed the London Institute Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy This enables me to work with individuals and couples to treat a range of sexual and relationship problems.
I have taken additional trainings in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, (OCD), to further strengthen my clinical practice.
I am an Emotional Freedom Techniques Trainer and Master NLP Practitioner. These approaches promote systemic release of even the most pervasive of traumas.
In July 2011 I formed the Local Counselling Centre with my Co-Director, Jo Coker, Counselling Psychologist and Psychosexual Psychotherapist. The Local Counselling Centre is a private counselling agency comprising of 25 qualified counsellors and 8 student counsellors, working in Herts, Beds and Bucks. We take self and GP referred clients for the treatment of all presentations, including a specialised psychosexual service.
In additional to my clinical work I am part of the Naos and BeeLeaf Institute training teams, running annual trainings on the treatment of anxiety, trauma and EFT. I frequently run workshops on Emotional Freedom Techniques for the general public, counsellors and psychotherapists, see the Training and Workshop page for details of the next course.
